La Bella Vernice - nail art

I have been having so much fun with the two thermal polishes from La Bella Vernice! I did a little bit of nail art this week. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably already saw!

The first nail art I attempted this week was a some what Valentine's themed mani.

For this mani I used La Bella Vernice - Feeling Romantic as my base polish. Then I took a scrapbook heart sticker and placed it on two nails for an accent. I used La Bella Vernice - Feeling Shameless to polish over the sticker and then took some tweezers and removed the heart sticker. Ta Da!

I think the result was quite sweet! What do you think?

For the next nail art attempt I tried some stamping on for size. (Yes, it was the challenge in Nail Art Designs this week on Facebook!) I am quite in love with the result!

The base polish for this mani was La Bella Vernice - Feeling Shameless. I used Shany Plate SH18, some silver nail tape and a konad white stamping polish to achieve this look. Again, I am super in love with this result.

Check out the awesome thermal change!! <3

Please let me know what you think in the comments!

La Bella Vernice Feeling Shameless

As you know from my last post, I recently purchased a two thermal polishes from my friend Roni over at La Bella Vernice. They are from her Mood Swings collection. I had been drooling over these for quite some time! Look at the super cute packaging they came in!

Well I'm shameless when it comes to loving you
I'd do anything you want me to
I'd do anything at all
- Billy Joel

True to the song. I could not help myself from buying Feeling Shameless. A polish that shifts from purple to blue? How could I avoid that temptation?

Feeling Shameless, like Feeling Romantic, is a 3-Free formula (doesn't contain some nasty chemicals that a lot of mainstream polishes do). It goes on nicely and dries pretty fast, which is fabulous because. . . I was ready to play with it!!

Feeling Shameless is a holographic polish with a purple to blue shift with heated temperatures. Unfortunately, I was unable to snag some holo-y goodness in pictures due to the sun being uncooperative, but I promise you it is there and it is BEAUTIFUL!

I've been thoroughly enjoying watching my nails turn from purple to blue to purple . . . to blue. If you are someone that likes to change your polish often because you get bored with the same thing on your nails. . . this polish is great for you! Constantly changing and bound to keep you entertained! I know it has me amazed.

If you would like to watch a video of the color change in action, there is one posted on my Facebook page.

Feeling Shameless is available on the La Bella Vernice website! $10 for full size (15 ml) or $4.50 for a mini bottle (5 ml). There are also 4 other thermals in the Mood Swing collection if you would like a different color change. :) I see a few more in my future!!

And I'm changing, I swore I'd never compromise
But you convinced me otherwise
I'll do anything you please

You see in all my life I've never found
What I couldn't resist, what I couldn't turn down
I could walk away from anyone I ever knew
But I can't walk away from you

I have never let anything have this much control over me
Cause I worked too hard to call me life my own
Yes I made myself a world and it worked so perfectly
But it's your world now, I can't refuse
I never had so much to lose
I'm shameless...shameless
- Billy Joel

(Is the song too corny? I couldn't resist. hehehe)

La Bella Vernice - Feeling Romantic

I recently purchased a few polishes from my friend Roni over at La Bella Vernice after having drooled over a few for quite some time. Having never tried any thermal polishes I chose two from La Bella Vernice's Mood Swing collection! Look at the super sweet packaging they came in!!

Today on the blog is Feeling Romantic.

Feeling Romantic starts off as a lovely bright pink color and if exposed to the cold will shift to a deep purple. Not only does it have an amazing thermal color change, but it is also a holographic polish (which we all know I LOVEEEE)!

I got lucky and had a little bit of sun today so I could catch some of the holo in pictures! Feeling Romantic's formula is 3-free so it doesn't contain some of those nasty chemicals a lot of mainstream polishes do. I applied 3 coats for a more opaque look but if you want to go for a slightly sheerer look you can use less coats. I think it would look lovely either way.

Look at the beautiful many faces of Feeling Romantic. I could play with this polish in the water all day! (Or outside, but let's face it . . . it's COLD out there!)

Here is a fun video I took where you can see the color changing in action! ---> Click

Tell me that isn't amazing!?

Below are a few pictures I snapped while taking Nova outside. You can really see the transition!

Last night we were watching a movie and I was completely amazed by my color changing nails as I was sitting there. Mmmmhmmm it's cold in my house! ;)

You can purchase Feeling Romantic on the La Bella Vernice website for $10 for a full size or if you prefer a mini $4.50. :)

I recommend going to check them out!! They are a LOT of fun.

Be on the look out for my next post with La Bella Vernice - Feeling Shameless!

Sugar Spun Nail Art

Hello my lovelies and WELCOME to all of my new lovelies!!! Today on the blog for you I have some more nail art. (Then I promise to get you some more swatch and review posts because I have some new beauties to show you!!)

This week's challenge in Nail Art Designs (see previous post for last week's challenge) was Sugar Spun Nails. This was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be and please remember again when I say I by no means think of myself as amazing at nail art. That's what the Nail Art Designs group on Facebook is for though. . . challenging yourself to new techniques and making yourself better! There is also an added plus of making some friendly connections! :)

First I watched a few tutorials on YouTube. Here is a great one if you want to watch the technique! ----> Click here!!

Then I took to pinterest for some ideas and ran across one that I thought I would try to attempt.
See the original nail art by The Nailasaurus here. ---> Click

Now for mine! :)

Can you tell I was going for chocolates? :) Perfect for Valentine's Day coming up don't you think?
